BBQ Methods
For Outdoor Cooking, you have three choices to
fuel your next BBQ cookout.
Each method has its advantages and disadvantages.
CHARCOAL Least cost to acquire. Messy clean up each time you grill. Takes more time to reach cooking temp. Difficult to regulate temp. Frequent replenishment(s) of charcoal for extended cooking time. Still, charcoal can be a lightweight, inexpensive choice for that BBQ in the park!
For 50+ years, the WEBER Kettle Grill remains the charcoal grill of choice. Take care of it and it will last for decades.

GAS Improvement over charcoal. Lights instantly. No ashes. Generally higher temps achieved. But, "taming flame ups" can be a chore, and often ruins food beyond recovery12. Lacks the wood smoke flavor of charcoal. In gas grills, you get what you pay for. Quality stainless steel units with heavy SS or cast iron grates will last the longest. WEBER has a 10 year "bumper to bumper" warranty on all gas grill.
If you choose NATURAL GAS, be certain to purchase a model specifically manufactured for NG. tGG has never known an LP/NG conversion to work safely!!

SMOKER/GRILL I have cooked on charcoal ( hibachi ) and LP Gas Grills. But, a smoker/grill ( like my 34" Traeger Pro ) is, the way to go. If you want to smoke, grill, braise, even bake, I invite you to join the growing family of backyard pit masters that count on a wood pellet-fueled BBQ to cook foods with an authentic campfire taste
. . . with perfectly predictable results every time.
